Huzzah! I can’t stop saying that hehe. This was my second time at the Hebron Renaissance Faire along with my husband Ed (first timer), Mike, Dave and Aly. The theme this year was King Arthur’s court and today’s specific theme was Steampunk cosplaying, which ironically barely anyone showed up in Steampunk. Thanks to the time of season being close to Halloween, me and Ed were able to get costumes online. There were tons of things going on all throughout the day from 11am to 6 pm from comedy shows, to acrobatics, to live joustings, to belly dancers! Merchants were at every corner where the boys drooled over the custom made swords, leather armor, and strung bows and I fawned over the dainty jewelry and bodices
My ordinary wench costumer slowly evolved into a wench/warrior/noblewoman with the new addition of a strapped on dagger and an ornate feather fan.
Throughout the whole day, we had a blast, there literally was no bored moment in sight. Even the games were entertaining, as you can take your chance with throwing daggers, spears, and spears at targets, shoot a crossbow, and toss tomatoes at an insulting peasant (and I do mean insulting). I also had a try at an addicting game called “Smite the Knight” with a foam sword at hand, you square off against a knight and get 5 shots at him if you can. I got four but he got the best of me; “Til next time Sir Knight!” :p
If anyone has never been to a Ren Faire, I would highly recommend it. Even if you don’t dress up for the event, it is always entertaining for all ages. A blast from the past as always and hoping to go back again next year!

Yesterday I accidentally swallowed some food coloring. The doctor says I’m OK, but I feel like I’ve dyed a little inside.
